We sell only completely restored American baby grand and grand pianos, so call us if you think your piano will fit well with what we sell and we’ll be glad to cover all the details with you about consigning it at our place for re-sale.

Below is a sample copy of our standard consignment agreement:

____________ agrees to consign his/her ------------- baby grand with Bill Davidow for a period of one year from the above date.  ________________ understands and agrees that if the piano sells she will accept $---------- as payment in full for the piano from Bill Davidow.  Bill Davidow has the right to sell the piano for any amount he sees fit.  ____________ also understands that she/he must insure her piano while it is in the custody of Bill Davidow and will release Bill Davidow from any responsibility in respect to the piano while it is on consignment with Bill Davidow.  ______________ will pay a fee of $-------- to bring the piano to Bill Davidow for consignment.  Bill Davidow agrees to deliver the piano to the new purchaser if the piano sells and will be responsible to the new purchaser in regards to the piano’s well being from that point on.
If this contract expires and the piano has not sold, an extension may be negotiated between ______________ and Bill Davidow at their own discretion.  However, if Bill Davidow decides not to extend this agreement, _______________ will immediately remove the piano from Bill Davidow’s place of business at her own expense.  If the piano is not then removed, Bill Davidow will have the right to charge a reasonable monthly storage fee and will release the piano once the storage fees have been paid.  If storage continues for an additional year after this agreement expires and the fees have not been paid by _____________, Bill Davidow will have the right to sell the piano to regain the storage fees and will not be responsible to Kathy Abels for any other payment in regards to the piano.

So agreed by Bill Davidow and _____________ and each acknowledges receipt of a copy of this document.
